Tropa ISP Basketball Tournament

League Objective

The league strengthens camaraderie and fair competition among network companies through organized basketball.

Tournament Format

• 12 participating teams are divided into Bracket A and Bracket B.
• Each bracket has 6 teams.
• Elimination round is single round-robin within each bracket.
• Each team plays 5 elimination games.
• One bracket plays per Saturday, with 3 official games per game day.

Point System

• Win: 2 points
• Loss: 1 point
• Forfeit: 0 points

Playoffs

• Top 4 teams in each bracket advance to the quarterfinals.
• Quarterfinals: A1 vs B4, A2 vs B3, B1 vs A4, B2 vs A3.
• Semifinal winners play for the championship.
• Semifinal losers play for third place.

Eligibility

• Players must be bona fide employees of their represented company for at least 3 months.
• No guest, import, or borrowed players.
• Illegal player violations may result in automatic forfeits and committee sanctions.

Game Rules

• FIBA Official Basketball Rules apply unless modified by approved house rules.
• Teams must be at the venue 30 minutes before their game.
• Grace period is 30 minutes. After that, automatic forfeit may apply.
• Referee judgment calls are final and cannot be protested.

2. Head-to-head
3. Point difference
4. Total points scored
5. Coin toss

Protests and Discipline

• Protests must be submitted by the Team Manager within 30 minutes after the game.
• The committee may impose warning, technical foul, suspension, disqualification, or expulsion depending on the violation.
• The Basketball Committee has final authority over interpretation, schedule adjustments, and unresolved situations.

Awards

Champion, 1st Runner-Up, 2nd Runner-Up, MVP, Mythical Five, Best Defensive Player, and Best Sportsmanship Team.
